Wow, BlackBerry Creat Tablet and Slider Handset

Research in Motion (RIM) is reportedly developing a touch screen smartphone with slide-out keyboard, and tablet accompany the popular BlackBerry device.

Wall Street Journal reported the action taken in the Canadian-based company to maintain its BlackBerry from losing their share due to Apple's iPhone and iPad, and the threat of mobile devices that use Google's Android operating system.

This touch-screen smartphone will use the new version of the BlackBerry operating system and works similarly to the iPhone, called the newspaper quoted 'people will be familiar with that device'.

Qwerty keyboard with slide-out design under the touch screen and users can also use the virtual keyboard. The new device has a storage capacity of 4 Gb and 5MP camera.

While the new tablet device in the early stages of development and will emerge most quickly end this year, where it will connect with the cellular network via a BlackBerry, write the Wall Street Journal.

RIM had previously been making touch screen smartphone, the BlackBerry Storm but failed to match the popularity of the iPhone. Not only that, RIM also be behind Apple when it came to application.

Apple already offers more than 225 thousand applications in the App Store than RIM shows only about seven thousand applications.
