The patient discussed in Facebook, Nurse will be Fired

At least five employees who are all nurses, is likely to lose his job because of posting patient information on Facebook.

County Times reported that the dismissal of employees regarding Tri City Medical Center in California.

CEO Larry Anderson said the Tri-City will hold a hearing on the dismissal of five employees, who use social media as a place of discussion about the patient.

Hospital officials last month confirmed they were investigating allegations of patient privacy violations that may have occurred on Facebook.

But Tri-City confirmed that no patient names, photographs or something similar, appears.

Protected patient information including patient name, identification number, room number, photograph, diagnosis or something else.

Representatives of the California Nurses Association labor, Max Carbuccia said nurses sometimes discuss how to handle various types of hypothetical patients, but only in the context of education.

The employee rate there is no evidence that they memberataan, he said. All have posted also denied a specific patient information in online.
