Japan's leading notebook vendor, Sony issued a warning to consumers Vaio owners. According to them, hundreds of thousands of Vaio laptop that has spread globally threatened cause overheating risk (overheat).In a statement Sony party, was quoted by Yahoo News, Thursday (1/7/2010), the chip monitors the existing heat in parts F and C series Vaio did not work effectively so that it can lead to the possibility of overheat.
Overheat claimed happened quite yet resulted in a fatal accident. However, Sony has revealed at least 39 complaints received from consumers in foreign countries because of the changes that occur because of Vaio overheat.
This event is estimated to potentially occur in about 535 000 Vaio laptops worldwide. Currently, laptops and CW2 F11 series, which launched in January, according to the Wall Street Journal, spread over several countries in the world. Approximately 259 000 units sold in the U.S., 103 000 units in Europe, 120,000 units were sold in Asia and in Japan approximately 52 000 outstanding.
However, the Sony says if consumers do not need to worry. Section, the risk of overheat can be completed simply by updating the firmware, without having to return the product to Sony.
